Steinbridge Group investment firm moves its headquarters to 4 WTC

Real estate investment firm Steinbridge Group has relocated its headquarters to 4 World Trade Center. The company, which has a portfolio spread across New York City, Washington, DC and Boston, will occupy part of the building’s 29th floor. The 44,000 s/f of office space comes with conference rooms and business lounges.

Steinbridge Group is headed by former Peebles Capital Partners exec Tawan Davis and is currently finalizing the acquisition of $500 million in assets, with another $1 billion worth of acquisitions in the pipeline.

With the deal, Steinbridge joins other tenants such as fintech firm Hudson River Trading and online marketing company MediaMath. Hudson River Trading signed a lease for 69,000 s/f of office space in the building earlier this month. Meanwhile, MediaMath moved its employees into the tower’s 44th, 45th and 46th floors in 2011.

The building’s anchor tenant is the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The agency returned to the World Trade Center last year after 14 years near Union Square. The Port Authority had its offices in the building between 1973 and Sept. 11, 2001.
